99 5.4 4x4 E350 Superduty Monster Van - Who converted this?

Working on converting this beauty to a camper van. I am having a tough time figuring out who converted this...it began its life at McMurdo air station where they outfitted it with transmission and engine heaters and a bunch of other random features. Front looks like a Dana 50 4.10. BW1356 transfer case. Any help on figuring this thing out is appreciated. I know very little about 4x4 setups. Thanks in advance!IMG_4640.jpgIMG_4641.jpgIMG_4645.jpgIMG_4646.jpgIMG_4647.jpgIMG_4648.jpgIMG_4627.jpgIMG_4628.jpgIMG_4627.jpg

Are you in Southern Ca? Weather homes and van look familiar. I may have seen it around town a few times.

I had an identical van- Mine had Ujoint swapped mounts and springs. I know that part doesnt help but to me this looks like some Salem Kroger maybe Advanced.

I prefer a lower center of gravity and real suspension. I bought my 03 E350 for 2K and immediately got rid of the lift blocks in the rear and had Deaver bend me up a nice progressive spring pack. Camburg assembled the bend IBeam package with 4.5" longer springs. Although my ride is 2wd it has pretty of actual wheel travel and does well over the desert chop. A locker helps to get out of the sand. You have a great base to work with, so stick with it and make it how you'd like it.

How long have you owned it? I saw this van at Tourmaline in La Jolla and had a brief chat with the owner.

I would definitely look into getting it off the blocks and lowering it a few inches.
Yeah I’d love to get it off the blocks. Bought it from Zach who you probably met in La Jolla. Any recommendations for 4x4 shops around San Diego? I can do the work I just don’t know if I am going to mess something up by pulling the blocks off.
