So , my uncle got the fever! He's been txting back and forth with me for the last couple of months with eBay links saying "hey, what do you think of this one?!" And I always reply, too many miles , too much money , etc ,etc, etc!!!
Well about two weeks ago he sends me a link to this

It's a 99' , with 80k on the clock, truck #7 , and it's immaculate! So I text him back and say, hey, if you really want to get in the rover game , that's definitely a good one to start with! So he buys it, and has just taken delivery yesterday.

The one thing that I wasn't familiar with , nor have I ever seen was this

I know for the competition , a lot of the dealerships would mod there own trucks. Could this possibly be a dealer original mod??
It's just odd, I've never seen an interior like this.

Anyway , any insight would be helpful, he lives in Chicago, so I can't exactly drive over and check it out.
Here's are some more pics of the truck.

If you're talking about the blue panels in the seats then that's the way the Trek's that year came from the factory.

Really?! I thought it was the technical cloth? Thanks for the info. I had never seen the blue insert before.
Ah..... I just remembered as I was typing, technical cloth was in the kalahari, duh!

'99 is a unique year for TReK trucks- blue leather insert seats, and full rubber mat floor!! One of the best years IMHO… And with little effort, the CDL can be hooked up!!
