A new vario project

Actually it IS handling pretty well now.
That is serious lift.
The rams also look quite delicate compared to the size/weight of the Vario. Does it have to be on level(ish) ground?
Or put another way - How much side force can they take and still work?

They are quite skinny! But they seem fine. In theory they won't be working on a side slope because then one wheel would be on the ground. But time and use will tell.

560 watts of solar panels now fitted to the roof, all wired up and running through the charge controller, That gives full data on real time power in and power used, and also accumulative figures.

Registration certificate V 5 returned today, now registered as a "motor caravan" taxation class "private HGV"

Now no need to use the Tachograph and keep it calibrated, and keep to drivers hours and keep records.

Speed limiter can be removed.

Class 7 mot test

road and bridge tolls cheaper
