I just saw a contractor at a neighbors house with this cap (the diamond plate version). It had no tool boxes and with both doors open you could see all the way through- I had the exact same reaction. With some planning to store things easy to hand along the sides (or getting one with side boxes inside) if would be pretty good IMO. It seems to open a lot more than regular widow/doors in caps exposing much more of the bed.
