You would think. But on the F150 forum I am on, people seem to be shocked and outraged their orders are taking a while to be filled.

Lol people are too used to overnight or 1-2 day amazon deliveries.

I’m trying to figure out just what problem it is that Ford is trying to fix by requiring web page Looky Lou’s to acknowledge the supply chain problems.

You’d have to be living under a rock to not have heard of the ubiquitous supply chain problems plaguing businesses today.

What exactly do you think is being solved or avoided here? ?

Just protecting themselves from the idiots.

Things are so bad here in Canada. Vans and trucks are especially high priced. 3 year old vehicles with 80,000kms on them are going for more than a 2022 model MSRP. I've seen new Ford transit vans selling for $15,000 over MSRP. I'd say prices are up about 70% from before covid, e.g. a Transit van that was $35k before is now $63k. The dealers here basically fired all their sales staff. I don't even think you can buy a car off the lot anymore, they are all sold. The ones you can find (cars, base model SUV's) are all MSRP or a bit over.

Yup, ordered a new 6.7 350 Tremor back in Feb. I’ll be lucky to have it by Nov. But by ordering and waiting, you avoid the insane dealer markups.

I am starting to see a bit more on the lots now. More than the last few months around here anyway.

Agreed with Wraithchild. I did the same in Jan. Plus then you get to order it exactly how you want it,

Lots are bare here. Especially Toyota. Nissan there was a two or three Frontier a couple Pathfinder and a half dozen rogue's. Most of them were sold already.
Toyota has four RAV4 and bone had a window sticker do maybe were all sold.

Custom order to get what you want is nice, but 10k off sticker/MSRP and I'd take Chrome and lack of a couple non critical options.
