Anyone have these or used them? They are like an ammo box but only plastic.
very cheap-$10- and they sell them at northern tool. They have acouple of sizes on their web site. I might grap a couple for the foot wells in the montero.

I have 1 of which I ordered a while back. Havent had any issues with it. It's good quality. The one I have is the shallow one. About half the height of the one you posted. I wouldn't drop it in a lake for any length of time but it does have a rubber seal around the edge of the lid. Makes it relatively weather resistant. Prices for them wasn't bad either.
I actually plan on ordering a couple more.

I have several different brands of plastic field box, and all of them have worked well so far. As mentioned above, I don't know that they're waterproof, but they're definitely very weather resistant. They're lighter than ammo cans, and they don't get hot to the touch if they sit in the sun. I'm working on mounting my MV50 compressor inside one right now.
