I used many lights in the past: PIAA, Hella, KC, etc.
PIAA510 are too small, they good for in-bumper fog application.
Hella500 are very good budget option, cheap and good output for their price.
KC Slim or Daylighters are another option on the budget.
Hella4000 is blowing out light, best on the market, but expensive.
Think of converting lights to HID. I converted Hella, KC, PIAA, but the best results in your range fro my experience were HID converted KC Daylighters Fogs. They turned night to day in light perspective. Again this is on budget built. I currently have HID converted 4000s and those lights can burn through anything on their way.
