Advice wanted - Low Profile Roof Rack to mount on Topper

Looking for recommendations for low profile roof rack/platforms to mount to a SnugTop Rebel, with Yakima Tracks on a 5.5' F150 bed. I will use the platform for occasional storage and mounting a fly rod tube. Looking for something similar to the Rhino Rack pioneer platform. Info on mounting hardware to Yakima Tracks is also appreciated. Thanks.

I went to the junk yard and got one off of a jeep grand cherokee wk. I flipped my top over and measured from the inside in order to get an accurate location to drill. I used 1.5 " 3/8 bolts with lock washers and nuts. I also mounted super strut to the inside of the topper for strength and mounting stuff to the inside. It should be strong enough to make a lifting hoist for removing it from the truck, but we will see. The hardware and super strut cost me about $24 and the rack at the junk yard was $27

Sounds like you made a great find. I am all for salvage and DIY if I can find a rack. I ordered the SnugTop with the reinforced frame to allow for 500lbs roof capacity, though I don't plan on storing that much weight on top and not for very long. I like the idea of a low profile platform rack to lash firewood, elk antlers, etc. to, rather than the cross bars. Good looking truck BTW.

Yakima makes a rack similar to the Rhino Rack Pioneer rack called the LocknLoad; i'm assuming that they would make the hardware to adapt to their own rails.
I installed one on my Power Wagon; though due to my bed rack setup I actually ended up mounting the rack turned 90 degrees. Ended up going with this as I didn't want the rack to sit higher than my cab when unloaded.
