crap dude my phone sucks and isnt take the pic really well. Umm how many washers and there sizes are there?

Here is what the control arm bracket kit comes with. Still waiting for the rest of the kit. I got the shocks yesterday but the rest is still "in transit"

I cannot figure the bolt/washer combinations. also dont know what the two extra M14 bolts are for.

Sounds like AEV instruction still suck.
The big fat washers should go on the lower control arm bolts, axle end. They are cam eliminator washers, notice how the factory bolts to through an oversized square hole.

Are the extra bolts both m14? I believe the frame side track bar bolt is on the 2012+, axle side 9/16s? I forget exactly what is what now I've swapped track bars with my original, to a 07 track bar and now synergy. But I'm wondering if they included the shouldered bolts for the track bar. Your guess is as good as mine, unfortunately that's what we have to do with AEV instructions....?

Very nice!

What size tires did yiu also go with? That sits great!

Thanks!! 315/70/17 Duratracs. It handles great. I would like to dial it in a little more and make sure it is aligned well, but the shock spring combo handles well. Be interesting to see if it changes with front bumper and TF tire carrier and a spare.

Quick update. Spoke with AEV tech support - clarified that the extra M14 bolts and large washers are used to replace factory installed cam bolts on the control arms. They said that some JK's have them and some do not.

The installation will be delayed by 6 weeks or so. I ordered this kit to install on my 2010 JKUR and I ended up ordering a 2013 JKUR to go with the kit. Could not pass up getting a commando green rubicon.

I figured it would be easier to install the kit on a new jeep with clean bolts and suspension. The 2010 was just too dirty and would have needed a lot of PB blaster to clean the nuts and bolts. Far to cost prohibitive. ;)

I might switch to the AEV 3.5 sc in lieu of the 2.5. Not sure yet. I keep second guessing myself. Especially since the teraflex exhaust spacer kit helps with the driveshaft clearance issue with any lift over 3". At first when I went to AEV's shop and looked at how they cut and modified the exhaust pipe, it turned me towards the 2.5". I did not like the fact you had to cut the exhaust pipe and weld in a funky bend. With the teraflex it eliminates the cutting and welding and looks like a much better solution to add the clearance.

Nope. Exhaust spacers are not enough to clear the driveshaft with the AEV 3.5" lift. If you don't believe me I would be happy to sell you some barely used teraflex exhaust spacers I have in the basement.

I ended up with an AFE y pipe. It clears but the product fitment is terrible as is their customer support, if you want to call it that. There are dozens of us it seems with 2012+ manual transmissions where the pipe is in constant contact with the transmission mount. I sent them half a dozen pictures and explained that the two sides were spread apart as far as possible and leaking already, and they told me to pull them apart further. No other help. I asked if they would accept is as a return or reimburse me for having it modified. Nope.

I did not use spacers on my 2.5. Unless I am airborne it probably won't hit.

Did anyone who installed their own lift have an issue with the front brake lines after install? I am ready to button everything up but the front brake brackets don't line up with the new bracket location. They line up great with the old location. Did miss something?

What year is your jeep? On the 2012 forward you do not use the bracket: you just zip tie the line to the shock.

Sorry, my Jeep is a 2007 Rubicon JKU. Since I originally asked I stretched the brake lines as much as I could handle without thinking they were going to crease. I took it for a test drive and the brake lines seem to be fine. Now I just want someone to tell me I did the right thing so I can drive without thinking I am going to lose my brakes at any second. lol
