When your Ark thing is telling you that you're down to 35%, what's that mean?
Does it have a nominal range of depletion that it "smartly" recommends?
or are you actually taking those batteries down that low? If so, you're killing them. Alot...

As for charging the Ark off the vehicle after depleting them that much, good luck with that.

On my Arkpak, I've been paying more attention to the voltage reading and view the percent remaining as wishful thinking (or possibly bad advice).

Only the folks at Ark can probably answer your question... and I hope they do!

If I had one I'd put in a Wallyworld boat battery and get a solar panel kit with at least 60 watts.
Car batteries, especially AGM, will not deep cycle often and come back with a low current charge. Your best bet is to keep it as charged-up as possible. I'd try to keep the AGMs at 12.5v and above.
