I have a flashing air bag light in the dash code 3 flashes then 4 flashs in my 4x4 E 350 van 1995 PSD. Ive read it could be the clock spring or just some seat belt wireing .
My question is what can i do to get rid of the stupid flashing light the van only has one air bag in the stearing wheel i think,
ive survived 55 years without air bags can i just take the bulb out ?
I dont need the stupid air bag !
I dont want to pull the whole stearing wheel apart if its the clock spring thing.
I put new seats captains chairs outa a 2003 Aztec so there could be wire plugs that are just laying under the floor rubber .
Anyway some help on this would be great to at least know what code 34 is on my van and what i could do if its just the seat belt plugs or wires to the old seats.
Also what would happen if i just took the bulb out ? If i cant figger this out.
I never liked air bags in Vans.

I use a piece of electrical tape over the light on the cluster. (i.e still need to pull it too...)

It is likely from a short in the plug under the passenger seat. It is very accessible and an easy fix. Hope this helps.

What do i do to the Plug ? i think its just a plug unpluged as the original seats are gone what do i do to this plug ?
maby put a wire from one side to the other or what ? i will look and see if theres a wire there it would come from the passengers step well right ? i dont think the 95s had air bags for the passengers did they just the driver ?
I only see one air bag in the stearing wheel.

The plug under the seat on a 95 is for the seatbelt light (no srs that I know of). Is that light on? If not forget about it.

Your flashing code 34 is for low resistance in the airbag circuit. You can fish for it but it sounds like pulling the bulb might be your preferred solution.

Yes i dont care about 1 air bag in my stearing wheel . my 4x4 van is so hi up if i head on anything its going under my van anyway + i have a road armor front bumper. I just want the anouying flash to stop but didnt want to pull the bulb then find out it was part of something else ?
