That rocks. I've got the bug for distance riding these days. Seems like a super way to visit a country - slowly.

Ah yes. Those dudes. Many in our local mtb community were plenty peeved at those bone heads for their stunt in the Grand Canyon. Being one of the most protected parks in the US, bikes are not even remotely allowed, and these dudes rode rim to rim and then posted the video on the web. **********.
They got a little jail time and are banned from national parks for 5 years. If you're going to do a big trip and post it on the web, you might want to keep a clean image.
On a side bar - We have a few buddies that did the same ride from Prudoe Bay to Panama via the Continental Divide trail. They only took 61 days to reach my house in Arizona!!!
