Albright type solenoid

I'm looking for an Albright type winch solenoid for my Warn M8000. My old control box works but it's just too big.

I don't want to spend a ton of money, but I don't want to waste my money on an inferior quality part. Who's got a good solenoid for a good price?

Same tale as you. Warn m8000 with corroded contacts.

Replaced with superwinch solenoid from summit racing.

I purchased a WARN branded one from Amazon. Got it and have not tested or installed it yet. Warn keeps telling me that it WILL NOT WORK for am M8000. We shall see this week when I finally hook the winch back up.

well you just need to make sure you get the correct one for your motor type.

That sounds like nonsense to me. The M8000 is a simple winch and doesn't have any bells and whistles like battery monitor or temp sensor. It won't know the difference between the Warn 4-pack and Albright/SuperWinch contactor.

Check Summit racing. They sell a Superwinch version for half the price of the warn unit.
