This is a new trailer i built over the summer that turned out way nicer than what i ever expected or needed.New,never out of garage other than trial tow of about 20 miles and never in weather.I built this to pull behind 4runner or tacoma and wanted a all purpose trailer were some seem to be lacking. With the awesome examples of craftsmanship on here I copied a few to build my own.It is built to haul camping gear, kayaks, awning, roof top tent,as well as be a utility trailer when needed to haul lumber,sheetrock,4wheeler etc.
It is built just wide enough to slide a full sheet of plywood in with tailgate down and just long enough to sleep in if needed.
All receipts and pics. All mig welded, sand blasted, seams sealed, primer with self etching primer and commercial bed liner applied(not cheaper self applied stuff).
Pulls great and looks great, you will be hard pressed to find one this nice without the price tag of bigger companies.I didnt make a top but you could easily take off thule rack and build one on the flat rails. The mounting holes for the thule rack are drilled and sleeved so no water gets in top rail.Interior tie down points everywhere and tailgate will disconnect and drop all the way down if needed.Simple wiring and led taillights. No title and no title needed in Oklahoma.
