Almost Complete Adventure Trailer

Last year I purchased a home built trailer from a member of my local Jeep club who had to sell due to an untimely job relocation. I had hopes that I could get it one step closer to being trail worthy, but life was too busy to complete the job. It needs some finishing before you can get it on the trail and start attaching overland do-dads, but it's 75% done.

Just fitthe aluminum skins, install the lights and safety chains, inflate the airbags and you're ready to go!

The trailer is in Dallas (75238). $700 takes it home.

I must be doing something wrong, I'm getting estimates between 1000-2000$,
I guess at the dimensions of 10' long, 4w and 4h with 400# weight

I made a few calls about shipping. The cost to cover the distance far outweighs the size/weight, so shipping to you is cost prohibitive.

It's all about the best freight class that you can justify. I get awesome freight rates and just a quick rate shop puts this @ $500+ to Hartford and that's adding 100lbs for a custom pallet. You could also try uship.com .


Personally I don't think it would be worth the sellers time/effort to ship it considering it will most likely sale locally pretty quickly and not worth $500 in shipping to the buyer. Just my opinion.


Having said that, OP - I am not finding any dimensions for the trailer. Can you post up:


- Track width
- Inside bed dimensions
- Overall length


Or point me to where this information is located?

Measuring from the outside in inches....
The main box is 72 x 42 x 24 (LxWxH)
The platform in front is 16 x 40
Overall length is 120 (10ft, does not include hitch)
Track width is 60 (WMS to WMS)
Distance from tongue to axle is 84 (7ft)
