Alpicool LGCF55 lid latch issue

I'm curious if anyone has experienced this issue with their lid latch. I'll try my best to explain the issue by using pics!! I drew horizontal lines where the plastic used to be and now they've bent upwards. I think four years of the lid slamming down on top of the fridge caused the plastic pieces to bend upward, just enough to where the latching mechanism can't do its thing. I'll take the lid off and see what can be done but figured this fridge is so common that others might be having similar issue. Honestly, if it weren't for the lid bouncing in the back of the cargo area and causing a little annoying sound, I wouldn't really worry about this. Until this is repaired, the lid can't be latched.

I'll contact the vendor on amazon to see if they can send me a replacement part or maybe a whole lid.

The fridge has been working flawlessly since purchased in 2021.

Closing the loop on this easy fix. The pics tell the story, but all you have to do is separate the the plastic under lid cover from the top cover. Remove two screws and use a small screwdriver to separate the two pieces.

Cheers.
