Nice write up...We are at the camp right at the bottom of the tight road that lead to the trailhead of Chute Canyon. The white 4 runner...You came by our camp around 5 or so on Saturday.

Nice to see the pictures and description of your trip! The San Rafael is a jewel. Enjoy the many attractions. My wife and I have done 50 or so trips in the San Rafael and still find new and interesting places.

you write that disrespectful blather and try and pawn it off on me as if I wouldn't find out?

you better keep an eye out for a pool of brake fluid under that XJ of yours bud......next to the oil from the rear main you've "fixed" 6 times.

Speaker: Thanks for your 2 cents. It's a joke. If we can't laugh at ourselves, then we are taking life too seriously. I make fun of ever social/ethnic/political stereotype I can manage to fit into a conversation--within good taste. Have you ever taken a second to think about what the characters on the Simpson's represent? Do you call up Fox and ask to speak to their writers because they are poking fun at socio-ethnic stereotypes and potentially perpetuating a vicious cycle of ignorance and racial intolerance? I mean, did they really get to know Asians, Scotts, Indians, black people, police officers, DMV workers, tycoons, politicians, etc etc before they took shots at them?

Most of my friends growing up are "hippies" as I would classify them....spending countless days and hours mountain biking, hating motorized users, and smoking whatever natural substance it is that they want to smoke all while wearing Patagonia fleece coats and Birkenstock sandles. I still make fun of them, they make fun of me. It's all in good fun and we're all friends. The world goes on. Songbirds still sing.

Sorry if you took offense to anything I just wrote.

EDIT: There was a post from "Speaker" questioning how appropriate it was for me to call someone an "earth hippy drop out". So, although this post makes no sense now, the response wasn't unsolicited.
