ive had my RTT mounted on my RSI truck cap so it deploys to the side of the vehicle but I am in the process of transitioning to an ovrlnd camper and will be selling the truckcap first. I’m order to keep camping in the RTT while waiting for the new camper I am considering moving the RTT over the cab of my F150 super crew cab on a prinsu rack. Instead of setting the RTT up so it deploys out to the side again I was considering deploying it to the rear so that the ladder and annex would actually rest in the bed of the truck. Anyone ever done this? Reasons not to? I would secure the tent using the tie down points in the truck. Looking forward to your ideas!
