Alu-Cab Shadow Awning

I have a brand new, never mounted LHS Alu-Cab 270 Shadow Awning for sale. I bought this directly from Alu-Cab just before they became available in the U.S. but have decided to go a different route due to complexities mounting this to my pop-top roof. These are available for $1500-1600 depending on your mounting option. I would like $1395 which includes Alu-Cab's universal bracket kit. I'm not willing to ship. Pickup in or around Nashville, TN.

The Shadow is hands down the best awning design on the market IMO. The other 270 awnings don't compare when it comes to coverage. It's also as stout as they come - the build quality far exceeds my Hannibal awning. It pains me that it won't work on my rig.

Do you have any pics of the universal bracket mounting kit?... I have the RHS and have been trying to figure out how to mount mine to my rack with no success thus far. there's so much cantilever force at the rear hinge point. I'm about to sell mine if I can't figure mine out soon also which bums me out.

I recommend contacting the US distributor, OK4WD. There should be no issues mounting this awning to a sturdy roof rack. I have an aluminum pop top with an angled mounting surface and a rear lift gate that together make custom mounting more complicated.

My buddy has one on his front runner rack with no issues. I'm pretty sure you'll be fine.
