You know Lucidless, this is a form of Klingon mind torture. There must be a stadium full of U.S. overlanders looking at this and drooling like Pavlov's dogs. The pain is exquisite I can assure you. I would love to drive this beast north up through Alsaka, then down through the mountain West and as far south as I can get before they puff me up the chimney. I think I used to have dreams of pretty girls like that, but I can't remember for certain anymore .

I’m in that stadium! Up in the nosebleed section since that is the only ticket I can afford!

Thanks! I actually was going to take it off EP- as I've been met with insanely ridiculous offers or people that just don't know what they are talking about, aside from a select few that actually know defenders and what has been put into the truck, the US interested buyers are insane time wasters- except for 2 individuals, who are actually doing their due diligence.

I've had lots of emails with offers below $15k, people wanting to trade air planes, land, H2 hummers, etc.. hahaha. And a couple very very troublesome interested parties.

A little over a month ago, I also had an expo member agree to my price of $65k, he wired me a $15k deposit, I arranged shipping to Canada and all the paperwork, and then emailed me back a few days later asking if I could lower the price we agreed on because his "wife didn't like the kitchen setup, and would have to spend a lot to change it". When I told him "no" he threatened to sue me if I didn't give the deposit back (he's a lawyer from CO- but won't name, names) Ended up keeping $1,700 of the deposit as that is what it was to reserve the container, and then another $45 for the wire fee.
Now that is an alarming story! Remember what Shakespeare said what the first thing to do with all the lawyers was.

The world is full of Walter Mitty types; dream great dreams, but never get out of their living rooms. Sounds like you have run into most of them. I’m getting to be too old to do world travels, but do plan and execute a couple North American adventures annually.

If I were you, I’d take the beastie off all sales sites and just start using her. She should last you the rest of your years. Get out and and enjoy the world before it is too late! Travel as far as you can, store it, then come back and continue when resources and time allow. Trust me, time goes by so rapidly. And the older you get the quicker it slips like sand between your fingers.

Yeah, I’ve been able to enjoy it. It’ll suit someone better though, I found after doing my break in trip it’s too much for me as a solo traveler. I have another overland vehicle that suits my needs better.

Boy, is that cool or what???
If you put "Ford" blue oval emblems all over it, do you think we could sneak it into the U.S.?
Yeah, I thought you were gonna say that...

Alright homies, I’m leaving SA in 10 days and starting my overland trip to China.

The defender is still available- price is $65,000. After shipping and fees to Vancouver Canada you’ll be looking at $71,450. All the paperwork is sorted and in my name, and sale docs are at the Land Rover specialist here in CPT- it is in covered storage now, and the lr shop will assist with any shipping if needed or if you want to add anything.

NOTE: the 130 fits in a 20’ standard shipping container. And totally locks up for RORO

If anyone has legitimate interest feel free to shoot me an email at: matthew@lucidless.com in the subject line just put “Defender 130” cheers
