Up for your consideration is a 2021 Lexus LX570 Luxury. Major options include the Head’s-Up Display, the Cool Box, the Luxury Package, and the Mark Levinson audio package. Additional options are listed on the window sticker included at the end of the photos.
This LX570 was purchased by the current owner in excellent shape with 20k miles with the intention of building a long-distance travel vehicle for two. Nearly two years, 48 states, and 40k miles later, it is now up for sale. Before this epic trip, the vehicle had multiple upgrades and capabilities added. All of the work was completed by three well-known outfitters that specialize in their respective areas – SLEE Offroad, OK4WD, and Ed Martin Toyota.
The LX comes complete with a secondary battery and large "house" power system that will run any 110v appliance you want. It is tied into the alternator for charging.
SLEE Offroad was selected to complete the vast majority of the work, while Ed Martin Toyota was selected for the installation and modification necessary for the Fabulous Fabricationss custom snorkel, and OK4WD installed everything on top of the truck. All work was done at these respective facilities.
The total cost of the all of the modifications and accessories was approximate $52,000. The total cost of the project – including the initial vehicle purchase – was approximately $138k. (This includes all of the additions on the truck listed at the end of the listing this truck which make it turnkey.
Maintenance has been performed on the LX regularly, and 92-93 Octane fuel has been used whenever available. The truck has recently had a full detail and service, and many of the photos were taken prior to putting back on all of the accessories. I also had a full AHC service including brand new globes from Toyota Japan as a preventative item by Rocket City Cruisers, I wanted for the new owner to have 100% confidence that it ready to go. Please note that photos are shown without the additional accessories that will be included, listed at the end of the description. Together, they create a turnkey vehicle that can be taken on a trip immediately.
The CARFAX notes minor damage on the driver's side. This was a decision that I made to have the side repainted after some particularly deep pin striping in the Pacific Northwest that broke the clear coat.
SLEE spent three full weeks building the majority of this truck, and a lot of that time was spent under the hood. The wiring is unsurpassed, and the components are all top-notch. Everything is fused, clearly marked, and cleanly run. It’s truly an amazing truck that can go anywhere you’d like and keep you there for extended periods of time.
