We get the same posts in these forums every couple of days. Is there a buyers guide for X or what do I need to worry about in vehicle Y or my Z broke and Land Rovers are $#!%!

Let's try to fix some of that. It seems like Amazon is positioning itself to be a great resource for people to research new and used cars before buying. If you have the time, please add a review for any of the trucks that you own so that we can give future buyers more heads up about what it means to get into one of these amazing vehicles.

Be honest in your review. I've always felt that the biggest criticism of LR is from buyers who assume they can ignore their service schedule and have Jiffy Lube handle their yearly oil changes. Let's set the record straight! Maybe we'll keep some people from buying them that shouldn't, but maybe we'll convince others to take better care of these SUVs.

I added my review for my 2005 LR3 (I really just copy pasted a post from this forum I did about a year ago).

I used it to get parts for my DRZ400 and it worked very nicely. Gotta love Prime and free shipping.

Ha. I just about went off on my neighbor the other day. He's the ridiculously nosy type and whenever I'm out working on my car, he has to come out, walk over, and ask "what's wrong with your car now?" Every time I tell him, "Nothing is wrong, I'm just doing XYZ maintenance" or "Nothing is wrong, I'm just installing [insert name of LR toy here] because I'm making into an overlanding machine." He doesn't get it... at all. If you're doing anything to your car, something is broken already. There is no such thing as a modification and no such thing as maintenance. And that is one of the reasons there is such a misconception of Land Rover reliability out there. I'm sure he's telling all of his friends that his neighbor's car breaks down every week. :) Argh. *Rant over*

Exactly. So by us posting on research websites that suspension bushings are a consumable part that requires replacement ever 80-100K miles we will help to keep the prospective buyers with lady-palms away from LR3s and help assure guys that can grow a grey pube that there won't be much risk in pulling the trigger on a new off-roader.
