Tim and Kelsey get lost..
Pretty cool! The baja 1000 has to get back some of it's sense of humor. Like the old days when there was the candy cane car, the winnebago, 55 chevy, and many other fun entries.

First post cut and pasted from the thread:
"Not since the movie Cannon Ball Run (1981) have you guys seen this.......
Judd Symons and Dr. Jeff Grange of Symons Event Services (SES) are building an ambulance to compete in the 2010 Baja 1000.
You guys all know SES, they are the Ambulance service at LOORS, D-37, MDR and various other off-road events as well as providing EMS services at concerts, closed track racing and more.
Judd and Doc Grange want to use their ambulance for the good of all Off Road Racing and have graciously offered their ambulance as a fund raising tool to FAST-Aid and a fun "How far will it make it" game for all of us.
So here's the deal.....You can sponsor from .10 to $10.00 or more for every mile the Symons Event Services Ambulance completes in the 2010 Baja 1000. That's right, you get to sponsor an ambulance and cheer for its completion of the 2010 Baja 1000.
If you are interested, please send an email to Kim@fast-aid.org and give me your pertinent information: Name, contact info and how much you want to sponsor per mile. One of us at FAST-Aid will be giving updates here on RDC as to the condition of the ambulance, how far its gone and the status of the crew.
If you are a company who wishes to make a corporate donation to FAST-Aid, we welcome that too and the Symons Ambulance will run your stickers during this years Baja 1000. But you have to act quick. Time is running out and you will have to get us your donation and stickers fast. Again, please send me an email at kim@fast-aid.org and we will make it happen.
I am attaching a couple of pictures that Doc Grange sent me today. Thanks to him and Judd for this unique fund-raising opportunity. Remember, every-time you give to FAST-Aid it's insuring there are funds available to help that next critically injured racer, crew member or photographer.
Thank you for your continued support of FAST-Aid."
