An airline rupture, isolation valves and changed bump stops

Thank you for the motivation! I installed an EAS manual back-up system on my 1995 RRC LWB:
A "Y" fitting was installed at each air bag, with a separate line run to the engine bay. The "Y" has two feeds (EAS / Manual), and both are isolated with a built-in check valve. I can remove either/both feed lines and the "Y" will not leak.

Kudos for the great write up - I never saw this thread. I do remember you talking abut this situation in another thread, tho.
I am one of those who prefer the air suspension to coil conversions and, in the spirit of the KISS principle, I also am not a big fan of manual pump up kits with Schrader valves - though I do believe there is a place for both depending on the use of the vehicle or the situation you are in - and it sounds like you def made the right decision to get the vehicle pumped up so you could get back off the trail.
Just to provide an alternative (and for those who have not yet installed a 'pump up kit'), this is what you need to do to pump the EAS up with an IIDTool. I am quite sure your Faultmate can do the same though the menu items might be termed slightly differently (I do not believe that there are any other systems aside from the Autologic and OEM IDS/SDD that can do this).
-IIDTool Menu->Service Test->Suspension->Test Valve->Adjust Front, raise the front up to the desired height.
-IIDTool Menu->Service Test->Suspension->Test Valve->Adjust Rear, same as above but for the rear axle.
Each corner can be raised individually if needed.
Once the vehicle as reached the desired height, exit the test valve mode and disable the suspension: IIDTool Menu->Service Test->Suspension->Build Mode
When finished, simply put it back into customer mode by calling the build mode function once more: IIDTool Menu->Service Test->Suspension->Build Mode
This function can be used to lower a vehicle to the bump stops (such as for loading a roof rack) or raising a vehicle for service on the trail etc (exercise extreme caution when doing this, though, blocks under the vehicle just in case, etc).
Obviously this would not have worked in your situation on the corner with the air line rupture. It also won't work with any catastrophic failure of an airbag or the compressor. But in my experience and in talking to our customers, these failures are actually quite rare (we have 2500 IIDTools in service to date :Wow1: (I find this to be a large number too!)).
