And yet another off road-ish camper build has begun.

We have doors!

Was gonna do more today, but ran out of lumber. Yard doesn't open back up until Monday. Oh well.

Looking good. Whats your plan for door seals?

Not a clue, and freaked out a bit. The only idea I came up with for the rear doors is aluminum angle and flat bar. Inner and outer seals...

Any suggestions are welcome. I left enough gap (1/4") around the doors to use an .065 thick aluminum angle to frame the doors and use flat stock in the insides and outsides as needed for a sealing surface for a neoprene seal of some type...

This is how I did my Alaskan doors. 3/4x3/4" .062 aluminum angle, powder coated, screwed on with flathead SS screws on the inside, and 1.5" wide x 1/8" thick flatstock on the outside, looks pretty good and should be water tight. I will put 1/4" bulb seal on the angle.
I will try and post pics tonight or tomorrow
Keith

Great ventilation, but your going to have problems heating it up though.

If the plan is to sleep inside, size and install your mattress and spend a couple of nights camped out in the garage. You can lay there considering placement of anything you need to add within your reach. Lights, switches, fans, windows, etc. RV's go places to die, these can be great resources for windows, doors and other misc parts.

You guys are hilarious. ********

It was built to hold a full queen size mattress. We have done exactly what you have suggested already.

I didn't really want to source used stuff. Out here the used stuff is pretty damn used. So, we are buying our stuff new from Frank and Champion. Stargazer and doors etc.

Should be some good progress as far as interior skins going in this week. Ill post up soon.
