Yes sir, gobi is out.

Aluminum is in. Stay tuned for the new rack setup. I loved the gobi but it was heavy, I didn't use the pivot feature, and it was showing signs of age in the powder coat (peeling / rust)

Looks naked without the rack. Does the new rack mount to the roll cage?

Yes, if does. But I do enjoy the clean look without the rack, lights, tent etc.

She looks classy right now vs simply utilitarian (which I also like).

I bet your gas mileage has gone back up. Mine has dropped by 2-3 gallons/mile after adding the rack and other crap up there.
