Any deals on Pelican cases out there?

I've been using an old 1500 series Pelican case as my kitchen box. I recently purchased a Partner Steel stove (sweet) and the matching griddle. According to the dimensions of the 1600 series Pelican box, the griddle would fit in the case pefectly and give me a little more room for other kitchen gear.

Found one online without the foam inserts for $150....doesn't seem too bad but wondering if you guys have any info on better deals out there?

Thanks,

Nate

Wow, that was quick! Glad I could help.

BTW, I'm thinking about purchasing the same stove. Any complaints with it?

Thanks....was already scouring online sites.

I've only used the Partner stove on one trip so far but it worked great. I purchased a small aluminum propane tank to complete the set-up.
Looking forward to taking it on a ten-day trip this fall, doing 5 days on the Green River then driving the White Rim. Should be pretty well broken-in after that trip (and a summer of camping before that).

OK, the reviews I've read have all been very good, but nothing like speaking to someone firsthand though. I'm a long way off yet with my build, but just doing research ahead of time.

Enjoy your trip, it sounds like a lot of fun!

Underwater Kinetics. Almost as good and 1/2-2/3 the cost.
Also S3 cases, but they only get so big.

Access to a local dealer might offset the savings, but most dealers have special freight contracts, and pass it on to help sales.
