Any hockey fans here? (I'm looking for an awning for my Jeep!)

I'm looking in to purchasing an awning for my Jeep and I'm trying to raise the funds for it. If there happens to be any hockey fans around here, I do have an autographed Los Angeles Kings hockey jersey I'm trying to sell. If this seems to get any interest around here, let me know and I'll post all the pics & info about it!

Thanks everyone!

never liked the Kings after they took gretzky89nike-1.jpg from the Oilers.

Dang...that's messed up! LOL!!!

Just to throw it out there, it's from the 1991-92 season, autographed by #77 Paul Coffey. It has the 75th anniversary NHL patch on the chest, and the 25th anniversary Kings patch on the shoulder. It's an authentic size 48 CCM jersey with the fight strap inside.

I met Coffey at an exhibition event at the old Kings training facility (The Ice-O-Plex) right after he was traded to Detroit. I bought the jersey brand new from the Kings store back then (The Slap Shop) and have had it hanging in my closet ever since. It's in pristine condition.

He also helped us get our first Cup.

He didn't help me get one when I was 14. ; )

I liked old #77 when he played for the Red Wings with teh exception of the time he planted one right in his own net. A Kings jersey though? j/k
Hockey is the only sport I follow.

I'm seeing autographed Coffey jerseys go upwards of $450-500. I'd like to get $300 obo (shipped).

I always thought he was a very fluid skater, and incredibly aggressive for being a defenseman. He had some serious skills. Would have been amazing if we had won the Cup back then.

Whatever I make from this goes towards a new awning for my WJ.

The only jersey I really want at this point (other than a few $$$ auto'd jerseys that are fantasy at this point) is a Reg Dunlop Chiefs away jersey. If you are a fan of the movie Slap Shot, you may have heard the name.

I have 12 right now with 5 of them being Red Wings jerseys.

This place rocks for Slap Shot stuff; http://madbrothers.com/catalog/

Nice collection! Other than my autographed Coffey, I also have an authentic Kings jersey for Jari Kurri (I need to get his number embroidered on the sleeves still) with the same NHL and Kings anniversary patches on it, and I also have a Kings jersey from a couple years ago for Ziggy Palffy (I really like the design of the actual jersey, but I had intended on buying one with Robitaille on it, but they were sold out)

As much as I've enjoyed having the Coffey jersey all these years, I really want a 6' ARB awning for my Jeep more!

Thanks. It has taken me quite a while to slowly build it up. My wife is a big Red Wings fan too. We got each other jerseys a couple Christmas' ago; I got her a Holmstrom jersey (her fav) and she got me a Winter Classic Lidstrom jersey. We are hoping to get them auto'd before they retire in the next couple of years. Lucky Luc was another one I liked as a Wing. The Swedish actress I worked with last summer became a US citizen alongside Ulf Sammuelson. She is friends with Henrik Lundquist and Henrik Zetterberg's wife. Eddie Belfour only lives about 10 miles from me. My buddy worked at his hotrod shop for a while.
