Hi ,I am looking for the part number for a multi switch for a 2009 GMC Serra 1500. with cruse control . My truck did not come with cruse control . I watched some videos were guys just add the switch plug in the extra lead and add the 15 amp fuse . and it works . I bought one on Amazon CA and they sent me the wrong one , now the seller want me to tell them the correct part number to correct it !! thanks if you can help .

im not sure what, year the pulled it from the Multi-Switch and placed it against the wheel,

double check your specifics, but i have had good dealing with them.

If you mean the steering wheel control for the cruise it should be GM #15819309

Ok ,so is it not part of the turn signal wiper switch ? maybe that's why i can't figure it out . rock auto does not list them . the one they sent me has it on the end of the multi switch,and the 4 way flasher button is a lot smaller then mine . but the switch plugs in and bolts on .

I believe that was for the 2006 and older series GM, with the 2008-9's in our fleet the cruise is a steering wheel mount, left side of airbag.

Actually the airbag only has 2 screws to mount it, the hardest part will be fishing the harness down the column to where it plugs in, there are probably videos on youtube to walk you thru the whole process.

I installed the radio controls on my steering wheel it was easy. the toughest part was using a dremel to slice out the plastic cover to clear the new switches. apparently the harness comes with all the Options already built it you can just add some of the things you want later like cruise like audio control and DIC on the dash all mostly plug and play.

No problem, don't be nervous getting into the column and under the airbag, if you are careful and take your time it should be fairly easy and you will enjoy the cruise control.
