Anyone considering building a GX460?

Here is the rear bumper we fit up to that same GX460 build Indhark mentioned on page 2. We also did front and rear ARB lockers on it. The customer is now considering suspension. - Mule Expedition Outfitters

That's fine and dandy, but call up Slee, ICON, King, CruiserOutfitters and ask them what parts they sell for your GX v lc, 4r, fj... crickets, bud.

actually, there is a decent US based market for the 150 platform, and because the GX460 shares 95% body panels with the Prado 150, there are a lot of options. more importantly the GX460 and the 5th generation 4Runner share identical frames and driveline, so the suspensions associated with the Prado 150/GX460/4Runner will all mate together perfectly. as well, if you look on the next page you'll see a 5th generation 4Runner rear bumper/tire carrier combo fitted to a GX460, because you know - they have identical parts.

in addition to that, the Prado 150 safari snorkel fits perfectly because of the same body panels, the ARB Prado 150 bumper fits, all the skid plates fit, and the Prado under-door plastic skirts from the 150 fit on the GX because the same body panels.

there is a decent sized market for aftermarket components available.
