Anyone ever put YJ revolver shackles on 97-04 Frontier?

They are both 2.5" wide, will it work, good idea bad idea? I have aftermarket air helper shocks with a greater amount of up travel then stock, so I can go up no problem. Problem is, the revolver shackles are 230 bucks, I might just go with mr gasket 2.5 adjustable shackles for $28, a good $202 less!:Wow1:

Might have the drive shaft come out of the transfer case at extreme drop.

Not a problem, it's a 2 piece drive shaft with a bering on a cross member where the bed starts. The pinion could even use some rotating up, so a longer shackle is on my to do list, I just don't know if the YJ shackle will fit the frame.

I've had revolvers on my 00 for about six years now with absolutely zero issues. I don't even have the limiting straps and I do have the two piece driveshaft. Still better safe than sorry. The reason I still don't have the straps is because I just don't do crazy stuff anymore that requires that much flex.

If you don't mind me asking, why use revolvers for a YJ? Why not just get ones made for the Fronty. Like these (click me, click me)
