The best way to outfit the XV1 nose cabinet is to have our Power Control Center installed and 1 Goal Zero Yeti 400. This kit provides the Shoreline in/outs and through port for Solar Panel or USB connections. There is enough room for an ARB single cylinder compressor as well. As far as a second battery I recommend a mount just forward of the curbside wheel well in the cargo bed, then we run a harness into the cargo bed to connect to it. You only need to install that secondary battery when you head out for extended periods, other wise the Yeti 400 will handle an overnight/weekend stay no problem. Again it all depends on what you intend to run off the system while out.

With the Power Control Center installed, you have full control of all electric accessories like Area Illumination System, Water Pump, 110V Supply, Solar Panel Controller, 12V Outlets, etc.

In looking at one of the dealer sites under trailer color it says 3M wrap any color. Is there a base paint color or are all the finishes a wrap?

Thanks

Wrap can cover a broad range of colors but some Paint Codes must be done with paint. Check with your dealer for what they recommend to best suit your needs. I'd recommend wrap for a trailer of this type whenever possible.

Million questions... Now the XV-2 questions since the fridge, power station, compressor and other assorted gear can live in the front storage box which is looking like a better option to me right now.

Question... Truck gas storage...where do you put it, since it can't go next to the electrical system in a relatively sealed box.. off to one side (and the cooking counter top on the other?) or in the cargo bed.

I want to keep gas outside of camping and diving gear, i'll also use it as diving base camp, which for me means Deco gas (i.e. O2 bottles)) so in the cargo bed i'd have 1/2 camp 1/2 diving gear that i need to transport, daily use dive gear is in the truck, hence the trailer or for local outings it may be loaded up with tanks and other gear.. so its really a dual use scenario with at least 2 trucks (one of which, my 90, i cannot put gas in an AEV spare tire mount like i can the JKU)
anyway thanks for the answers so far.

There's many options. Swing away tailgate carrier modified from our spare tire carrier would carry 6 Jerry's easily. Some mount Jerry's to fender steps but I don't recommend that. I've seen them on roof racks, etc. I like the vehicles tire carrier mounts best.

I know that Bob, who owns one one of these trailers, said earlier in the thread that his trailer would be at Expo West. Will there be any dealers or manufacturer trailers displayed there?

Thanks

Schutt Industries will have a major XVENTURE display at Expo west. Additionally several other vendors should have XV units on display. Hope to see you b there.
