One of my guys came down with a bad cold and might not go..... I would have 1 open seat in my Crew Cab pickup.

Here's our schedule:

Monday - Leave Costa Mesa @ 7:00am. Stop in Ensenada for a couple hours to drop off pit supplies and get wristband. Then keep heading South. Camp for the night
Tuesday - Keep heading South to San Ignacio and setup pit. We'll spend the entire day / night here. Campout
Wednesday Morning - I'll be getting in racecar with my co-driver. You + 1 guy and 2 other trucks will chase down through Loreto and into Insurgentes area. I'll get back in truck Wednesday afternoon and we'll chase car down to cabo. Camp Wed, night
Thursday and Friday I have nice a ocean front hotel setup in La Paz. We'll be going fishing and snorkeling there (no cost to you). We can relax until Saturday and then head back up North. getting Home on sunday night.

I'll know by tomorrow if there's an open seat. I'm looking for a semi-experienced Baja traveler, non smoker, no drugs, no heavy drinking, mature, etc. etc. All fuel and and hotels are covered.

PM me if you're interested

that is such a cool deal! If I wasn't already supposed to be doing tile at two different jobs for two different contractors, I would totally jump on this.

Awesome. I would be sorely tempted if I fit the "semi-experienced Baja traveler" bill.

Hope somebody jumps on this! It sounds like it's gonna be a helluva good time.

I didn't get Mike's email until it was too late. I was so busy running around that I didn't check my email all day.

The race was fun, but we ended breaking at race mile 140. :( That's less than 10% of the total distance. The car has a good track record but they're having clutch/flywheel problems.

My co-driver and I were waiting in San Ignacio for the racecar, once we heard the bad news we headed south to La Paz for a couple days. That part of the trip was great, we spent 2 days on boat around the islands of La Paz. Fished the first day and caught some good size Wahoo and smaller yellow fin tuna, then spent the next day diving "El Bajo" - with the hammerhead sharks.

Another great trip to Baja with no major issues, glad the be home safe with my family.
