Anyone Know Anything About This Company?

I oredered the 80w solar kit and paid for it via Paypal off there web sight and heard absolutely nothing. Its been about 2wks and no comformation, no returned phone calls, or no returned emails, and no refund. Flat linned....... Any advice or info on the company would be helpful for a sucker out of $500.00?

The owner is listed as Ron Young, who also owns Press Specialties Mfg in Apple Valley, CA which shares the same PO Box as "Adventure Power", so you might try contacting them through that business. Good luck!

No idea on that company but most of that stuff comes from China. It may be on the boat still. It took a very long time when I ordered mine from a different company. I was near to sure I was scammed when it finally showed up.

Of course thats no excuse for the lack of communication.

You paid with PayPal so have options with buyer protection so look into opening a dispute. I think you have 45 days or so from time of payment if no developments in near future.

Stroverlander- I already opened a dispute via PayPal but with my understanding there is no buyer insurance. PayPal does not hold the funds. The funds go to the seller and he cashes out. Done. If he gets the judgement against him, he gets his account closed if he does not produce. Then he can just open an account under a different name and info. Someone chime in if it isnt so.....

Anonymous posting makes for problems when someone's reputation is at stake. No disrespect, but we have no idea who you are, Hangdog2. For all we know, you're a disgruntled employee, or a competitor trying to tear down someone's good name.

I understand your view but you and everyone else are just as anonymous as me that post here. So you could go round and round with that point.
This is a great venue to figure out what works and what doesnt. We take peoples word or experiment ourselves. You choose.
I have already PM d some folks on here trying to find some more information on this company that has taken my money.

Or you could spend roughly 1/3rd more and get a kit from a known company.

It just sucks to spend money on stuff that doesn't work, or doesnt work for long. Some stuff I just don't want to be a guinea pig.
