I oredered the 80w solar kit and paid for it via Paypal off there web sight and heard absolutely nothing. Its been about 2wks and no comformation, no returned phone calls, or no returned emails, and no refund. Flat linned....... Any advice or info on the company would be helpful for a sucker out of $500.00?

Just stumbled upon this thread.

As a matter of fact, Ron Young, the owner of Adventure Power is a close friend of mine and also a very good customer of mine. I manufacture steel components for his printing machine business.

Adventure Power is a company that he started a couple of years ago, basically out of his love for camping and interest in solar and battery powered camping accessories.

He did a couple of small shows and made the trip out to Arizona for, I believe Overland Expo 1, maybe it was 2. But like most small business start ups, the shows and buying inventory can get pricey, and it has been difficult for him to do any additional marketing.

Ron's main business of manufacturing Printing equipment also slowed way down right around the same time, due to industry slow down.
I would love to see his business of Adventure Power take off, and have even considered buying it from him to see if I would have any luck with it.

Please, I ask that if you have been held out on money or product, and you have not had luck in contacting him, that you PM me, and I will do everything that I can to help you get this resolved.

I don't want to see his name tarnished on the internet, and will go out of my way to make sure that you are satisfied. I apologize for any hard feelings that you may have, and I hope that his can be resolved.

Glad to hear it. We can all understand how much of a pain it is to move, even more of a pain while running a business or two!

Hey sbwrench.

Any report on your new Go-Power set up?

thanks

Sorry for not responding sooner. I am very happy with the Go-Power panel. I used it several times last week camping, it would charge the battery up from about 12.3v to 13 in about 3 to 4 hours. I was impressed with the whole kit, the carrying case is nice and keeps everything protected very well. The kit came with more wiring than what was listed, besides the 15' cord and battery clamp adapter there was a 2' extension and a cable and plug for hard wiring directly to the battery.
