Anza Borrego: Coyote & Sheep Canyon

Cruised on out to AB earlier this month. It turned out to be a nice day in the desert even with a few light showers here and there. Met up ith a few friends in Ramona and headed on out to Anza Borrego, on up Coyote Canyon to the primitive camp at Sheep Canyon. On the way up, the FJ busted a shock on the bypass road. Hike up to a few waterfalls in the south fork of Sheep Canyon.

Afterwards, we drove to the end of Coyote Canyon and hiked a ways into middle willows. It was a forest back in there, but the pathway was fairly wide in some area. We noticed that I wouldn't take too much hard work to make a trail through there that would bypass much of the creek, if it was ever opened up again.

Oh yea, upon closer inspection it does look like a rake.

Nice pics of the Sheep Canyon waterfalls. I really like this part of A-B. I'll have to check them out the next time I'm there. Back in January I hiked up to the waterfalls at Cougar Canyon and also hiked from Middle Willow to the monument for the birth of the first European child, about a mile away from Bailey' Cabin.

That Ranger is a Very nice Lady! She even complemented me on the "SWR" when I first met her.

Always treat her with care! I was so pleased to meet such a kind Ranger! I explained to her about our group and how we care for the land....."Aina"....!

Nice trip! ....great pics as Usual!

Thanks!
