Couldn't find anything here or at ARB about comp. maint.
Long story short....New truck (new to me) with arb compressor, before I fire it up I would like to do a check-over.
Change oil in it and clean/replace air filter.
Can anyone give me the low-down? Oil spec's or just regular compressor oil?
Thanks tons in advance.

First step would be to verify which compressor you have:

1st Gen Compressor (over 8 years old)

RDCKA: (~1-7 years old)

CKMA12 or CKSA12: (less than a year old)

OK I looked at it last night.
It looks like the 'RDCKA', although I counldnt find any model #, just serial # stuff.
And by the amount of oil on the floor, I atleast need to add some before running it.
Then on to verify the line is free from debri.

Thanks again your knowledge,

Where exactly is the oil leaking from?

Likely it is "oozing" from your solenoid discharge ports, signaling something afoul within your differential, could be a clogged breather, worn or damaged o-rings or some mechanical issue that is literally pumping gear lube up the air line and out of the solenoids. The RDCKA doesn't actually have any oil to leak out, its only moving parts are in a dry configuration, a sealed conrod bearing and piston rings made of a dry work material.

Maintenance:

Air Filter: Remove the filter by unclipping the black cover. Wash in hot soapy water and let it dry completely. Re-install with the smooth side down. Replace cover.

Tank: Remove tank (you can usually leave the solenoids and pressure switch installed). Wipe out any condensation and debris. Re-install, making sure the o-ring is seated correctly and in good shape.

Thanks Cruiser!
As a matter of fact, the breather line was snapped off and plugged with mud!
Long way to pump gear oil, from the front diff. all the way to the rear cargo area, the front was low though.
Just starting to make my way through all the bits before hitting the trail.

Good info thanks again,

No problem at all...

It is a long ways to move the gearlube, but not surprising at all. The diff builds up pressure when it heats up, that pressure needs to go somewhere and its easier to move the gearlube through the air supply line than it is past the axle seals. Fix the diff breather and you should be golden :D

Let me know if there is anything else I can help you with!

Spoken like a true Expo member!

That should do it for now, until we get out to Utah for a family trip
before the kids finish school, 4yrs. and counting!

Take care,
