ARB launches new shocks

Thanks for the feedback guys.

I'm weighing my options for new suspension on my 4runner from my current OME with ~45K miles on it. In any case I want to get new UCA's and either:

(1) keep my OME springs and upgrade to the sport nitrocharger
(2) updgrade to Icon which has great reviews but the kit is $1200 at minimum.

Right now I'm leaning towards option 1.

We did a pretty high speed trip from Lake Powell to Blanding over Elk Ridge in October, even after hours of high speed moving they didn't get the fade I've become accustomed to (was previously running Bilsteins). I don't know that I can 'feel' a major difference between the previous Nitrocharger and the Sport having a different shock installed in between but the handling is as dialed in as ever so I consider that a success.

so you say these are better than bilsteins?

...so you say these are better than bilsteins?

In every application one could never say far too many vehicles, applications, coils, etc. However in my application (04' DC Tacoma with a rather heavy build), yes. We've now pulled 3 sets of the Bilsteins off in favor of OME or going back to OME including my own. I never had an issue with the N91's but on a whim I tried the Bilsteins with both the Tundra TRD coils and the OME coils. Not a fan under a heavy setup. bferg has identical results. I've got well over 100k miles on OME equipped Tacomas and could only bear the Bilstein setups for less than 5k. I gave them a fair shot, several southern Utah trips and a Moab trip, didn't do the trick so I switched back to N91S's and when the new Sports hit the US I immediately swapped them again :sombrero:

So the new Nitrocharger sport shock has an extended version as well, or is this the previous version you're referring to?

The Nitro Sport will have extended versions just as the standard Nitrocharger versions, I don't follow the Rover stuff but the Land Cruiser extended applications (N73L and N74L) were scheduled for a December production (so available soon) last time I looked into it.
