are these the correct updated crankshaft bolt and washer?

Yea - you may want to specify the vehicle you are buying the bolt and washer for.

Also, did you check the 4x4wire site? Pretty sure there is a thread in the Mitsubishi Tech section that specifies the numbers.

Mine is a 98, I'll check numbers in the morning.

EDIT!!!:

Looked again at the washer and not sure that looks like what I got at dealer! Hmmm....now I'm concerned. This multiple superseded part #s on such a critical piece is maddening.

For what it is worth. I bought mine from Ken Garff and I think it was less than the shipped price from this seller. $17.95 stands out in my mind. I WILL check my receipt for numbers and price tonight. Mine is a 98 too.

I just bought this for my 96 SR from the Mitsubishi dealer and it looks exactly like what I received and had installed in my truck.

PS: Rockauto sent me an extra set of NGK 8692 wires thinking it needed a set of 6 so if any of you guys are doing to top end job I can sell you these for $35 shipped ( I paid $50 with shipping )

They are the same parts numbers I installed on my 95 3.5 liter DOHC engine earlier in the year. Also, same part numbers are listed in the thread in the Mitsubishi tech section on 4x4wire.

Believe you have the 3.5 liter SOHC in your rig. I'm not sure if the bolt is the same for both engines.
