Mates, in progress expeditions I posted a thread with images of some of my trips with fellow LR mates exploring Tasmanian tracks. I have heaps more photos to post but going by the luck of commnets in the thread looks like that trips in Oz and Tasmania are not interesting to the Expedition Portal members.
We done last week the East/West track, 27 km of heavy going of which 15 km are low first gear with diff locks in. Today we just finished the Saw Back Range track, another 30 km of very interesting 4wd and 6 hours on the wheel. I will upload images on my page www.pbase.com/arthurplottier and upload some on the thread in expeditions in progress if there are interest on Tasmania and Oz.
The news is that I just sold the Disco 98 Tdi300 and brought a Range Rover Hiline 88 V8 3,5 FI. Next week Justin Cooper will fit the Truetrack and axles from Keith. I just fitted 50mm rised springs and Delphy shocks. By next friday 235x83x16 Maxxis tires will be fitted and duel fuel (LPG & Petrol) by the 3rd of February.
I am really looking forward for a lot of fun.
Cheer from Hobart.
