I found a guy selling some new armored vehicle headlights for a really good price, so I bought four of them. The intent for two of them is to be additional lighting for the front of my truck. For the other two, they were purchased so that I could put some work lighting on my truck. Everytime I have to load or unload the bed at night, it's a pain not being able to see what I'm doing. I had previously looked for other lights to use, but 24v lighting is pretty expensive or if it's inexpensive, it's also very poorly made.
These are installed with two switches, one switch will turn on both lights with low beams, the other switch will turn on both lights with high beams. They're definetely bright enough to light up the bed area (and quite a bit beyond it even though they're pointed down). Ohh, and my truck is full of tree debris from our big windstorm...gotta go drop that off at the yardwaste disposal this week .
