Very Nice on the lid. I saw one of their lids at Overland Expo and was impressed with the quality. Your set up looks near perfect. (If there were a Jeep towing it then it would be perfect)!!!

LOL! If I had a jeep towing it I would have a signature like you at the bottom (Just Empty Every Pocket) and not have any $$ to spend on the trailer. It does seem like yours is being towed by a Toyota a lot in your thread! :)
Love your build by the way. It inspired me to work on mine. The bumper looks awesome too.

Can we get an inside shot of that lid? Pretty darn sweet looking build so far...gonna get a set of those shackles for mine very soon!

Cheers!

Yup. Inside shot of the lid will be coming in the next week/week and a half. Trying to get the roof rack worked out and I have the tent sitting on the lid in my garage right now. I need to finish bolting the lid on and I will post some pics then.

Question for you on the shackles you used, is there a gap between the spring and inside of the shackle? Could you measure how wide your spring is where it fits in the shackle? I am wondering if I can use this shackle kit for my 1947 1/4 ton Bantam trailer.
What did you use for the other end of the spring for a through bolt where it attaches to the trailer or does the shackle kit come with enough greaseable through bolts for all four ends of the springs?
Your trailer turned out super nice!

There really is not a gap.
It has poly bushings and fit is real tight.
I can measure width tomorrow.
I bought new pivot bolts for the front.

It appears that this bracket that attaches to the trailer and shackle is right at 1.75" outside diameter. The shackle with the bushings fit tight on that.

I will have to give you that one and yes it is towed by a Taco most of the time ---- so often that I bought the truck!!!. Love my Jeep but no A/C, 460 @ 8mpg on premium, and 103 degrees in TX! Old age is giving out to comfort.

Put truck topper seal under the lid. It worked out pretty good.
