Since April 1st 2009 we've been on the road with 'Bee ' our trusty Land Rover on a kind of Grand Tour of the World.
So far we've travelled over 26,000 miles across North America stopping for adventures (and the odd mis-adventure) along the way.
Our journey so far has taken us from the East Coast, across Canada, up to Alaska and the Arctic Ocean and then south back down through the mountains, forests and deserts (and the occasional beach) of western USA.
Next up we'll be heading back to Canada for a real winter experience and to get in some of that ski touring that we have been dreaming about. The plan for spring is to drive Central and South America, then take the Land Rover with us to New Zealand and eventually ship it on to Singapore. From there we'll hopefully drive the length of China, Russia and back home via Scandinavia, in all extending the trip to two years.
We'll be camping all the way in our heavy canvas 'Sibley' Bell tent - 'camping with sole' as someone once put it !
