My hike to the False Kiva was long and treacherous...however, if you follow the correct path it is a pleasant hour hike.

You are most certainly welcome. Both places are really easy to find, if ya head this way let me know, and I'll go there with ya. I heard rumors of old radar sites in the Everglades from the cold war.... might have to head out that way one weekend just to see whats left of them.

December is slow for the wife and I, plus its probably a good time to down towards the Everglades because the bugs will be slowed down due to the colder weather.

I'll give you a shout for sure when we head down

Aight....lol. I'll be out of town the 14th of dec through the first week in Jan.


I feel ya on the everglades, I have wanted to go for years.. but never had time during the winter when the bugs are tolerable...lol.

Thanks again! I really love the 4-corners. My wife twisted my arm and we are gonna have to spend Jan-May RVing the southwest...then we'll probably have to head up into the Colorado mountains when it starts getting hot. So I've purchased Laurent Martres' series "Photographing the Southwest" and hope to visit his recommended sites.
