Now she is nicely composed...
P-51D 'Cripes a Mighty' (44-74813 N151BW) in the CAF hangar at Falcon Field 04-04-09. Canon Powershot SD630. I love that I got the exhaust discoloration on the aluminum skin. She was was airborne approx. 20 minutes before I shot this. The Merlin was still cooling down.

These are more or less just a few conversion tests. I was mixing the B&W shots using HSL in lightroom instead of the gray scale mixer. The colour (color) shots, just a little slider pushing. The best part, they are all single shots, and I got my workflow time on these down to, oh, maybe 15 minutes.:wings:

Inspired by Mr. Jarvis's iPhone as art, work, I've decided to put the big cameras down for a month and shoot only with a small carry around P&S or camera phone. I've created a new gallery to document my daily submissions which you can check out here if you're interested. Here are a few samples.

You have given yourself an excellent self-assignment, and you are off to a very good start. The iPhone and P&S definitely make you work for the images; but they also allow you to have a camera at all times. I will definitely be watching the photo-log.:ylsmoke:
