Here's a shot I took a few years ago at Bryce. I was at Sunset Point shooting the sunrise, which was pretty much obscured by clouds. I always make it a point to look behind me when I'm shooting sunrise or sunset shots since often there is some good color there, and this is what I saw.

Been away from ExPo for over a year and a half, having moved to England from Arizona in late 2009 and not having a 4x4 over here, but popped my head in recently and figured I'd share a few shots since I last posted. :)

A big move, welcome back Rob! Even if you don't have a 4x4 stick around and share your work, I've always really enjoyed your images.

Thanks Pat / Nathan / Trevor ... I've missed expo. I've been looking at Defender 110s pretty much since we landed, but resisted to this point because they drive too much like tractors to be enjoyable daily drivers (shuttling kids to school, going to the grocery store, etc), are fairly big for UK roads and I didn't see us doing enough wheeling, if any, while we were here to make it worthwhile. That said, I still look almost weekly at inventory and have gone to see a couple in person ... so who knows. :)

In fact, as I contemplate selling my beloved Toyota Tacoma, the last of our three vehicles from the states, I found myself searching the hard drive for photos since I haven't seen it in person in nearly 2 years. I came across shots of my E46 M3, taken just prior to moving to the UK, and figured it worthy of posting a previously unprocessed shot. Still looks good ... despite being a generation on.

Today at work I was driving my Linde and saw these two Mustangs parked next to each other.
Thought it was pretty cool seeing a very old one and a fairly new one.
I dig the latest new Mustangs, but I also like the classics.

Those are Hesco barriers in the background, as we are in a flood area should the Howard Hanson dam ever go, and we need to keep the building that house the Boeing flight simulators safe.
Barriers were installed a few summers back, and they will come down in a few years once the dam is fixed properly.

One of those images, I've thought about and had planned in my head for years now, just had to wait till all the stars lined up to nail it
