Artistic Shots- Well thought out, framed (positioned), artistic shots only please.

I just spent the last 4 days hiking 70+ km through part of the La Cloche mountains in N. Ontario, some of the most beatutiful country you'll ever lay eyes might I add. It's no wonder a few members of 'The Group of Seven', like A.Y. Jackson, kept coming back to this area. Needless to say, I've not had time to go through all my photos yet, but here are the first few that initially caught my eye. I'll post more when I get through them, right now I'm really tired so it's off to bed.

Those are beautiful, but that 1st one is just extraordinary:wings:
Thanks Natalie. The area is so varied in terms of what it offers visually it's hard not to get something half decent. One kilometer you're in a bog, the next you're on top of a low mountain ridge, next you're standing at the shore of an inland lake, it's pretty cool,....at least I find it to be. : )

It also has a pretty rich history as the area was one of the first areas explored by the french, who with the aid and cooperation of the local First Nations people, established what became the booming fur trade. Then many many years later, there was another boom, the logging boom, which grew and supported a lot of small settlements around the region. A lot of these small settlements have long been forgotten, but you can, from time to time, stumble upon the remains of a few of the those that were last standing. This car for instance, all but forgotten, sits strangely enough in the middle of a wooded area, far from any known road or other fingerprint of man, quite odd.

Junk at the end of an alley in Antigua, Guatemala. It seemed as though it had artistically arranged itself.

I liked this one because it was difficultto tell where the mural ended and reality began. Leon, Nicaragua
