That actually isnt far off! This isn't exactly what I was going for but I thought it turned out pretty cool!

It's been a long time since I've had a shot that I felt would not be out of place in this thread, but I think I finally have one. This was taken last week at the base of Lower Yosemite Falls, which was virtually dry by this time of year. I've never been able to climb this high before due to the usual torrent of water streaming down into this basin.

I would say well worth the climb. Nicely done. :wings:

A couple from yesterday. Lake Superior was all sorts of gnarled up.
A brief moment of sunshine..
Big waves..
This section of water, just east of the base of Miners Castle is where Miners River empties into the big lake. Not a lot of current from the river, but it does flow fairly well into the lake. The waves were screaming along the sandstone cliffs here...and the way they'd line up and hit each other was awesome. There were several moments when they were easily twice as tall as this shot..
And just a few feet up the beach... a different scene
