Lots of questions to answer for you.

I thought the best way to answer them was to put my replies in blue in the your text.

So it seems the overall height has grown, originally it looked like there wasn't much gap between the bottom of the front and the top of the cab, now it looks like a normal rack would still fit under it. or am I just seeing things?
YOU ARE JUST SEEING THINGS, THE HEIGHT HAS REMAINED THE SAME.

I know there's no orders for windows on the sides, but has anyone ordered a rear window? I think I would agree I like the solid sides, but I would like a rear window for visability when not packed up for adventure.
WINDOWS ARE AVAILABLE FOR THE FRONT, SLIDER SIDES, AND REAR. UPCOMING ORDERS HAVE THEM. NO WINDOWS MORE SECURITY.

are there parts available for purchase if/when things wear out (like struts)? YES THEY ARE. WE TRIED TO STAY WITH STOCK OFF THE SHELF ITEMS.

the expedition overland crew showed a telescoping ladder they keep so they don't have to enter through the truck (when cooking) do you sell these? YES WE DO.

I see that the prototype had the ability to lock the top down... but it looks like the production model changed to rubber tension straps (better IMO) but is there stil the ability to lock/secure the top down? though I doubt it's a real issue.. or that I'd ever actually lock it (save maybe leaving it parked at the airport or the like for long durations) DEMO MODEL HAD A STANDARD LATCH BUT IT DIDN'T HOLD UP IN THE OFF-ROAD ENVIRONMENT. RUBBER LATCHES ARE MUCH BETTER. LOCKING MECHANISMS CAN BE FITTED

lastly, do you offer a military discount? (always ask not going to affect my decision to buy one iota) WE DO NOT OFFER DISCOUNTS. AS WITH ALL OF OUR PRODUCTS WE PRICE THEM AT THE RIGHT PRICE FOR THE CUSTOMER AND FOR US AS THE RETAILER. I'M A FIRM BELIEVER THAT IF YOU CAN DISCOUNT A PRODUCT YOU PRICED IT TOO HIGH IN THE FIRST PLACE.

I assume that you can close off the back and the only reason to do a screen in the back would be if you wanted more ventilation.

Yes the back can be closed up. The screen would be used when the tailgate and hatch were open.

Perfect! I completely agree with the discount mindset, but never hurts to ask. as it would just mean I'd spring for a few more options.

I am anxious to order one... but it's gonna be late 2017 I think. I'm about 90% on going to Overland Expo West next year... I'll have to stop in and take a look while I'm there, and it'll help sell it to the GF ;-) she really likes the RTT we have now... she's going to absolutely love this

I saw my first habitat on the road the other day. It was on a taco with goose gear stickers so i assume it was the goose gear truck... Looks awesome! Saw it in North County San Diego.

That sounds right as they are located in Orange County

Are there any pictures of the interior of the habitat with the tent closed?

Nothing I can lay my hands on over the weekend.

Really isn't that interesting, just looks like the inside of a camper shell. The tent material is held in place either three carpeted boards or the additional sleeping panels.

EO has some great build videos on their YouTube channel including two great interior videos that give a good sense for what the ATH is like inside.
