ATLAS T-CASE Install

Has anyone installed an Atlas transfer case in their E350 4x4 Van ? I've been kicking around the idea and wondering what it would take to get one installed.
Yes, I know SMB's have them.

notmiller has, he has a thread here. I'm doing one on a 6.0 van that we'll be starting next week.

Easily doable, especially if you already shortened the gas tank. Just ask them for the 3/4" and 1/2" spacer rings and stack them to get 1-1/4" spacer between input face of Atlas and output flange of 4wd tailhousing. May need new driveshafts depending on the OEM case you have on now. Advanced Adapters has drawings of the Atlas II case on their website so you can compare dimensions to what you currently have. Check out bknudtsen's link above for all my info.

Thanks, I followed the thread up to that point and got distracted with other readings and just finished it. Nice build and we're neighbors.
I'm at a point with the van where I'm able to use it however the gear ratio isn't low enough for me, but I don't want to lose wheel speed for the sand either.
So the next question is to find out if a 4 speed atlas will work ... Should.

How do you even have time to think about an atlas in your van?

Hope your jeep is done. :D

Van needs love also.
Jeep is alive, test drive planned for tomorrow morning. If it goes well I may even head out to the dirt to test it.
